If you’re tired of hearing about all the rules about how to feel good or better, I get it. Most of us don’t have endless time to tick off a long list of “must-dos” every day. Honestly, even managing a coffee in peace can feel like a victory some mornings, don't you think? Remember this: You’re unique. What works for one person might not work for you, and that’s totally okay. Even more interesting is how what worked for you last month (or even last week) might not feel right anymore. For example, I used to love starting my mornings with a yoga YouTube class. It was my go-to for clearing my mind and giving my body a good stretch. Having scoliosis, those sessions felt especially beneficial for my back. But lately, I’ve been enjoying something different: putting on some music and moving freestyle, stretching and dancing in a way that feels good for my body in the moment. Life is a journey and we’re always changing. That’s why it’s so important to meet yourself with kindness and curiosity. After all, “variety is the spice of life,” right?
