As the vibrancy of Spring slowly sets in, have you noticed an increase in your energy levels and a renewed motivation to kickstart your pursuit of goals? If you are beginning to do this too then firstly, give yourself a big pat on the back for having goals and dreams! This can be a scary thing in itself and can bring up thoughts like “is this even possible for me?” Self-doubt and fear of failure is very common. But when you fear failure, you kill that goal. Here’s 5 reminders for if the voice of self-doubt starts setting in and sabotaging your goals: 1. Refusing to try is a guaranteed way to miss out on achieving your goal. Take the leap! Remember, your brain's primary function is to ensure your survival; don't let it stifle your dreams in the process! 2‍ .Transform setbacks into opportunities for growth; every stumble is a valuable lesson to build upon. 3. Perfection isn't the goal; progress is. Embrace small steps, and let each move forward fuel your journey. 4. Life is a continual journey; there is no “getting it wrong”. You are always learning new lessons and you can make tweaks along the way. 5. Look at how far you’ve come in your life so far! All of the growth, transformation and survival you have endured. Change is inevitable. You’re changing all the time. You’ve already changed so much. What else would you add?
