If it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you. True of false? 100% true, with a few buts. π Giving up alcohol is a challenge but you will change for the good. π Increasing resistance and weight in the gym is challenging but you will get stronger. π Delivering a big ticket Β£ pitch at work is a challenge but it may just get you that deal, you will learn from every pitch that you do. π Meditation can be a challenge for a busy mind but that's the idea.. There are a lot of activities that can have such massive benefit on you and support change that you are chasing. π The hot tub isn't much of a challenge, but it helps you to relax and muscles to recuperate - it supports change π Sitting in silence reflecting, not particularly strenuous but helps your headspace in working through priorities and key tasks - it supports change β Yes, challenging yourself is definitely where growth happens - if you want it. Getting comfortable being uncomfortable. β But take some time to practice the simple stuff that helps you with the challenge and growth - this supports change. β Time with family and friends, me time, low level activity, quiet time, being creative, having a hobby. This will set you up quite nicely when it is time to go again.. What activities do you do that are not 'challenging' and support change?
