Staying healthy is something I’ve always incorporated into my life. There was a gap in consistency when I had my children (so I thought) but now looking back I don’t believe that’s true. I was still getting up early, but instead of going for a walk on my own, my children were with me instead on their journey to school. I still had my time when walking back without them. This journey as most parents know happens twice a day. Then the never ending sports, cheering them on from the sidelines dragging all the equipment back into the car in all weathers and muddy conditions. I was shattered. But what I’m really tried to say here is, we sometimes don’t connect family time and the millions of tasks we do as being active but in actual fact they are the most active, valuable and healthiest times you can ever have. I was just doing all the healthy stuff differently and with little people. Once these times are gone they’re gone, so embrace them to the fullest. Anyway here’s a pic from yesterday in Cambridge paddle boarding in the freezing weather with other mad parents. (no children). 🥶
