Thanks to Chris and Darren Mace from BTS Property Consultancy for an eye opening Lunch and Learn today. We all know that planning permissions can be a hard slog and a looooong process, but it was interesting to hear Darren lay out some of the considerations that have to be looked into, before you receive your 'ticket'. Just do it as early as you possibly can, because when you're looking at the archaeology - (digging with paintbrushes 😄) - and ecology etc of the potential development land, you're talking at least 2 years, from the Section 106 (getting your ticket), to actually having all your permissions in place, to start!
