What are the 2 major trees in the uk? & what is the connection with my utility business? 🌳 The rowan has a long & popular history in folklore as a tree which protects against witchcraft & enchantment. 🎈Each berry has a tiny 5 pointed star or pentagram opposite its stalk. The pentagram, is an ancient protective symbol People believed red colour was best protection against magic. An old rhyme hints alludes to this: “Rowan tree & red thread / make the witches tine (meaning ‘to lose’) their speed”. 🍯 The mighty English oak is woven into the history & folklore of England. Druids would worship in oak groves, couples would marry under their spreading branches & the Yule Log, decorated for Christmas with holly & mistletoe, was traditionally cut from oak. 🧚♀️ I am so glad to Be part of UW business that is rejuvenating the Dartmoor forest Planting these many Moor Trees ! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1109516041220686&id=100064869003755 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1109516041220686&id=100064869003755
