What does 1,500 miles in one week look like? It looks like sunrise on the motorway and petrol station sandwiches at sunset. It looks like quick coffees, and ideas scribbled in car parks. It looks like building something that matters. In the last 7 days, I’ve covered 1,500 miles for meetings, speaking events, and moments that can’t be made over Zoom. I’m exhausted. But I’m also grateful. Because this is what showing up really means. I once heard someone say: “Starting a business is like training for a marathon… while running the marathon.” And I’ve never related to something more. Most days, there’s no finish line in sight, just the next step forward. And some mornings, the hardest thing is simply choosing to keep going. But that’s the job. That’s the difference. Not the wins. Not the headlines. Just showing up, again and again, when it’s not glamorous because you said you would. If you’re a founder, a property person, someone building something from the ground up... you’ll get this. It’s hard. It’s relentless. But it’s also worth it. Keep going. Keep showing up. Your future self is already thanking you for it.
