Don’t measure success by the size of your own home......35 years ago I lived in this 26 room ‘mansion’ set in 3 acres of gardens....we had horses and all the trappings of ‘success’. Shortly after this picture was taken the house was given to the bank to pay off business debts. I ended up with a High Court judgement, no property and no business. This was a consequence of the 89/90 recession however there is nothing to be gained by blaming the economy for ‘our’ problems. Take ownership of the ‘downs’ and the ‘ups’ will return. Learning how to create wealth is relatively easy.....creating it is hard......keeping it is hardest of all. Recognising the ‘downs’ before they arrive is the very best way to protect ‘our’ businesses and possessions.
