You know those weeks that just hit differently? This was one of them. Monday night I was up in Leeds for the Blue Bricks community event, catching up with my mate Sam Cooke. I’ve told him before – he’s probably one of the most mental people I know (and I mean that with love). Who in their right mind launches a print magazine when publishing houses are supposedly on their way out… and then turns it into the most trusted brand in the property industry? Sam does. The room was packed to the rafters... people were standing just to be part of it. That says everything you need to know about what he’s built. Tuesday brought a slower pace – pint in a beer garden with Tony Walker. Tony started his business around the same time I launched UK Homes Network, and it was one of those conversations that just reminds you you’re not alone in the madness. We spoke about the highs, the doubts, and everything in between. If construction or build costs keep you up at night, speak to Tony – the guy’s doing incredible work supporting people through it all. Then Wednesday came Bristol, and what a day. Scott & Amy brought the Property Developer Show to the South West for the very first time and absolutely smashed it. The atmosphere was electric. Not just full of people, but full of people who actually wanted to talk business. Every conversation I had felt valuable. They’re not just running an event, they’re creating a movement with a proper culture behind it, and it’s something the industry’s been crying out for. It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of running a business, but this week reminded me why I do what I do. When you’re surrounded by people with drive, big ideas, and a genuine passion for the game... it all feels worth it. #UKProperty #PropertyDeveloperShow #BlueBricks #HelpBuild #Networking
