🌸 “I Want to Do This… But I’m Scared.” Reflections inspired by Chelsea Flower Show Week 🌼🌿 This week, I’ve been taking inspiration from the beauty, discipline, and patience behind every single bloom at the Chelsea Flower Show. 🌺 The flowers we admire today were planted weeks, months, or even years ago. Much like flowers, our personal and financial growth needs time, consistency, and care. 💬 As Fabienne Fredrickson reminds us: “The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.” And the Chinese proverb puts it simply: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” Because compounding takes time. And Einstein called it: “The 8th wonder of the world.” But what stops most people? Fear. “I want to do this… but I’m scared.” Fear only lasts as long as you feed it. Once you take action, you often realise it wasn’t as big as you thought. 💸 Robert Kiyosaki said: “Most people never become wealthy simply because they’re not trained to recognise opportunities right in front of them.” We miss chances because we overthink or wait for the perfect moment. Because growth comes from stretching beyond your comfort zone.
