A year ago, I took a leap—leaving the UK and running my hypnotherapy practice remotely while travelling through Europe. It’s been a year of change, growth and discovering how stripping life back to basics can bring real clarity. That anniversary happened to fall during something I’ve dreamt of doing for years: walking a 166 mile section of the Camino Francés in northern Spain: just me, a backpack and the open road. The experience? A complete reset. 🧠 Mentally – grounding and perspective-shifting 💪 Physically – energising (and at times painful!) 💛 Emotionally – spacious and restorative I met people from all over the world, many of them in their 50s and 60s, sharing bunks in basic dorms and walking their own version of the same path. There was something incredibly powerful about the simplicity: just walking, talking, being. What really stayed with me: 👉 The kindness of strangers 👉 Conversations that went deep, fast 👉 The beauty of quiet moments: sunrises, birdsong, cool water, wild nature 👉 How much easier it feels to breathe when life slows down In the fast-moving world of property, it can be hard to step off the treadmill. But these kinds of pauses are powerful....they help us reconnect, recharge and refocus. If you're feeling the nudge towards change, rest, or clarity, trust it. And if stress, sleep issues, or anxiety are building up, feel free to reach out. As part of this community, I offer online hypnotherapy sessions to help calm the mind and support your wellbeing. 📩 My diary is open. You don’t have to walk 166 miles to reset. Sometimes it starts with a conversation.
