Alcohol awareness week - take some time to reflect. Alcohol Change UK are promoting #AlcoholAwarenessWeek with this year's topic being the harm that alcohol can create. 1st July - 7th July. Even if you are a mid lane drinker drinking a couple of times a week, or just at the weekend this can still create harm. You don't have to be drinking every day for the habit to be harmful. What's classed as harm? ❎ Your long term health ❎ Relationships can suffer ❎ Your work and performance will be affected ❎ The cost to NHS, police and court system - we all bear teh cost ❎ Collateral damage - family issues, divorce, domestic violence ❎ It's a major cause of death Alcohol doesn't have to be at the centre of your life for you to have fun.
