"What do people do if they don't drink? What do they do for fun?" I hear this a lot - it's alien to so many people to have fun without the use of alcohol. I'd like this to be a helpful post, one with ideas and advice. Alcohol is such a social lubricant and for many every social event and activity revolves around alcohol. All client entertainment. Staff awards and entertainment - always. Seeing your mates - always. With the girls 'the bottomless brunch' - always. Family gatherings, weddings, christenings, Birthdays - always. Here's a few ideas from me for fun without alcohol:- ↪Talk - enjoy a conversation that will be so much deeper without a skin full ↪Get walking in the great outdoors ↪Pick up an old hobby ↪Get out on your bike ↪Join a running club ↪Go to the gym ↪Take the kids to an activity of their choice ↪The cinema ↪The theatre ↪Sober sex - you feel a lot more! Even taking a short tactical break will open your eyes to what a world could look like by addressing an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. Try it. There are a lot of behavioral and habitual changes that need to be made on the longer term. Having fun without alcohol - once you've done it, you might even find it's more fun! And you're not boring! What else can we do that doesn't need alcohol to be fun? Let me know in the comments below. 👇 Action ➡ Momentum ➡ Results
