A change of career on the cards? Maybe… Over the weekend, I was honouring my Councillor duties at the Battle of Evesham Festival Amongst the medieval charm, I stumbled across a tent demonstrating traditional building techniques and I couldn’t resist trying something new I had a go at: Lath and plaster Lime pointing And I have to say… it was brilliant There’s something quite nice about working with your hands for an office dweller like me I could just imagine working away with the sun shining and head banging to heavy metal every day I found myself feeling slightly envious of those who get to do this for a living Keeping these heritage skills alive matters But having said that… I also now fully understand why we moved to plasterboard! I’m interested to know… Keep tradition alive? Move with the times? What do you think?
