🏚️🐦 From Pigeons to Plummeting Through the Ceiling – My Day in Property Chaos! 🤣 Some days, property investing feels like a strategy game. Other days… it’s like a slapstick comedy you didn’t audition for 🙃 Here’s how my “simple” property viewing went: 🚫 Step 1: First attempt: Arrived to find the property under siege by pigeons. Pest Control needed. Hazardous entry. One giant hole in the wall explained their grand entrance 🐦🙈 📆 Step 2: Second attempt (last week): Halfway there, I get a call from the new agent (covering for the one on holiday). I’d asked on the phone: “You’ve got the keys back from Pest Control, right?” Him: “YES.” Reality: ❌🙈 Back home I went, fuming 😤 property still pigeon HQ. 👀 Step 3: Finally get a new date… only to find another viewer there, despite being told no one else was interested. Agent casually says: “By the way, I’ve received an offer this morning. You’ll need to be quick.” 🕳️ Step 4: Nearly fall through the ceiling (my leg did 🦵). Agent looks up through the hole, probably wondering if I was about to sue him 😂 Then he tried to “repair” it with the same broken floorboard. Great bodge job 🤣 Good luck, next viewer 🍀 💉 Step 5: Later realised I was bleeding from my leg & arm… but carried on measuring up 📐 because no one else was going to do it for me 💪 That’s going to be sore tomorrow 🤕 🚀 Step 6: Quick clean-up, then straight into chasing viewings for my Supported Living provider. We’re on a tight timeline & if we don’t secure a home soon, this individual could be homeless and vulnerable 😢 Thankfully, we got a potential YES from a landlord today, with viewings arranged right away 🤞 🧠 Step 7: Re-analysed the deal with my mentor — now we can decide on our offer with all the facts. 💬 Takeaway: Property investing isn’t always spreadsheets and strategy. Sometimes it’s pigeons, plot twists, collapsing floors… and a reminder that behind the numbers, real people’s lives are impacted by what we do ❤️ #RealEstateLife #PropertyProblems #PigeonInvasion #ThroughTheFloor #NegotiationDrama #HouseViewingAdventures #PropertyInvestorLife #SupportedLiving #NeverADullMoment
