This week has been one of my most productive so far. Although I've had my head down in the laptop for 14 hours straight, I have used my time properly this August. My focus has been on the systems and processes that can make this business go to the next level. I am going holiday in a few weeks and although it should be an exciting time, I can't help but feel terrified that the whole thing my implode the moment I step off the plane. In reality it couldn't be further from the truth, David and I have some of the best people around us now in @Shane Traynor @Aaisha & @Rich Devenport. But that devil on the shoulder can always give you a hard time and really make you critical of how your business operates. Not to mention, it's not fair to leave the rest of the team with my share of the work. That's why I've decided to turn my concerns into positive action. For the past week I've been exploring automation and the systems that can keep running in the background when I'm not here. Don't get me wrong, some of it is far too technical and Chat GPT has received the prompt "now explain this as if I was a bloke down the pub" - quite a lot this week. Fast forward to Friday night and I think I've managed to get the grasp of automating several key areas I did all manually by myself: 1. Finding new members 2. Onboarding new users 3. Promoting the premium membership 4. Data and reporting I know a few of you will be like, "yes Chris, welcome to 2025!" but I'm dead chuffed and so pleased I could free up hours of time but also give a better customer experience. Whilst we're on the subject... What was the best system or process you put in place for your business? Is there anything you have automated that has changed everything?
