🌍 A Moment of Reflection: Legacy, Purpose & What Truly Matters This week, I learned of the sudden passing of a truly esteemed colleague — a leader whose work in UK healthcare and policy reform profoundly impacted the way we deliver medicines optimisation, polypharmacy management, frailty care, and behavioural change. They were a mentor, coach, and visionary, dedicating their life to improving patient safety and professional standards within the NHS. Their legacy will live on in the thousands of professionals they’ve inspired — and the countless lives made safer through their work. They were not yet 60. Not even eligible for free NHS prescriptions. That fact stopped me in my tracks.
