All in a Day - The Power of Networking Yesterday was an exceptional day that truly highlights the value of networking. In the morning, I helped host a fantastic networking event in Aylesbury alongside my wife Laura - connecting local professionals, sharing experiences as we continue to see first-hand just how much can be achieved when people come together. Then it was straight up to Manchester for UK Homes Network LIVE at Campfield House. An incredible evening of networking, entertainment and refreshments that brought together so many inspiring people from across the country. It’s hard to believe how far I have come since back in June 2024, near the start of my self-employment journey, I met Chris Tremlett 💭🏠 for the first time. Watching how he’s continued to grow UK Homes Network and build such a strong, supportive community has been nothing short of inspiring. It was great to catchup and meet with Chris, Ben Tibbetts, Antoni J. Kaminski, Daniel Kelly Dip CII, Suzanna Kelly- Staging Expert at The Home Staging Crew 🏠, James Cassidy, Mark A McAleenan and Winston Kan among others. A special mention and massive thanks to Shane Traynor for the signed copy of your book! I've already started reading and can't wait to learn and share from your personal experiences. Networking isn’t just about business, and the last thing you should do when you get into the room is sell, sell, sell! By connecting, collaborating and belonging, you become part of something bigger; a community that supports and inspires you. It says a lot about how far I’ve come personally that I can travel 170 miles from home and still feel surrounded by familiar faces, genuine conversations and people who want to see each other succeed. My journey has been enriched by every connection made along the way and that makes it all worthwhile. Today I’m taking a day off to explore Manchester with my family feeling grateful, energised and excited for the coffees and catch-ups already planned over the next few weeks.
