🎄🏦 Is the BoE About to Deliver a Christmas Interest Rate Cut? All eyes on the Bank of England today as it delivers its final rate decision of the year. Yesterday’s inflation news changed the tone completely. CPI fell to 3.2%, lower than expected and suddenly the pressure is on. Here is our reality: 📉 Growth: GDP at -0.1% indicating that our economy has flat lined 👷 Jobs: Unemployment creeping toward 5.1% ✂️ Markets: Expecting a 90% chance of a 25bps cut to 3.75% The big question isn’t if rates are cut, it’s whether the #BoE can do so without reopening the inflation debate in 2026. Expect the real market reaction to come from the vote split and Andrew Bailey’s tone, not just the headline number. After a tough year for the UK economy, this decision could finally mark a shift in momentum.
