Had a very productive week 👌 I started the week with long days, starting a challenge, as well as first week back at work, plus learning new things. Starting to learn more in depth knowledge about Title Splitting with James Lynch, which should work well alongside Supported Living/Social Housing & Commercial Conversions. I’m super focused on the direction, I want my business to go in, throughout 2026 & only learn something new, if it moves the needle, not a distraction “shiny penny syndrome” away from the focus 🙈🤷‍♀️ I finished the week off with a few successful meetings with Supported Living Providers, that I’m looking to now work with including Complex Care & CAMS. I learned a lot from one of the meetings I had, discussing the differences between the different departments they run, which was so helpful 👌 The more i understand the easier it is working with Providers, as they are busy enough with their roles, without having someone who doesn’t understand. Also touched base with one of my other providers today, already looking for 1 property & now on the lookout for another property requirement that has just come in. Touched base with the Letting Agents I work with & will be going back to speak to them face to face & hopefully book some viewings when I travel back to the area, for a few days next week. These relationships have been built over the last few years & some more recently, but you know you have a great relationship when they remember who you are when you call, or they call you when they think they have a suitable property. These relationships take time, not just calling once or twice, actually spending time in their office, explaining what you do & why, what your Providers need & why. I called a new agent this week, who didn’t understand how important it is to check with the landlord before booking a viewing. I explained everything to her, she then came back to me later that day to say I could book a viewing. I asked if she had checked that the landlord was ok with a Provider taking the property. She said No, so I explained that if I booked the viewing it potentially could waste a lot of people’s time unnecessarily, including her time. Good job too, as the landlord said No 🙈🤷‍♀️ I understand that the job is commission based, but surely building quality relationships with your clients is more important & this will bring you more business in the future? Finish Friday with a beautiful sunset out to sea 👌 If you’re a landlord, developer or Letting Agent or a Social/Supported Housing Provider interesting in working with us, please comment below or DM me 👇 #supportedhousing #landlords #lettingagent #titlesplitting #developers
