CIL in Wychavon will almost triple! It was agreed at a meeting at Wychavon Council yesterday that CIL will go from £43 to £120 per square meter for sites up to 9 units And they will be charging CIL on brownfield sites when they didn't before On my build costs CIL is now around 5.5% of the total! And based on the low value area we are of around £350 per square foot sales values it accounts for circa 3.2% of GDV! CIL is a tax before you've even made a penny CIL makes sites harder to stack CIL puts a strain on cashflow I can't believe the situation we're in Whinge over! 😡
