Hope January’s treating you well! This is that time of year where the Christmas break feels like a distant memory and you’re back in autopilot - pressures piling up, feeling stretched thin, not knowing which way is up 🫠. When you’re in that mode, you’re probably consuming a lot - podcasts on the commute, business advice, courses, asking everyone else what you should do next. But something hit me the other day - all that input can drown out your own knowing. I forgot my AirPods on a walk recently. No podcast, just quiet. And that’s when something clicked - a realisation I’d been too busy consuming content to actually process. Your brain needs space to connect dots. Your insights need room to surface. But if you’re always filling that space with other people’s wisdom, your own gut feelings and intuitive decisions stay buried deep down - you can find you second-guess yourself, self-doubt rules and decisions, actions, are harder. So this week, try unplugging - just for 10 minutes. Walk without earphones. Eat breakfast without scrolling. Let yourself daydream 💭 The answers you’re looking for.. Probably already within you. They just need quiet and space for creative thinking to show up. P.S. Looking forward to the next UK Homes Network event in Feb! Who else is going?
