Today we reach 2 years in business. In my kitchen, I have a chalk board and when I first launched the business, I decided to google an inspirational quote. I trawled through loads and most of them were rubbish. Profound nonsense that were just words. But one hit me and I thought, "yes that's how I feel". The quote is pretty old and it's from a bloke I'm sure you've heard of... Thomas Edison. "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try one more time..." I love it because it reflects the reality of life and business. It's a constant struggle towards the moments that really matter. For me, this moment, 2 years later really matters. Being in business is only for the mentally unwell. If you have had a sheltered life and your nervous system is unchallenged, I doubt you will fair well. I've walked away from serious addiction and it was a walk in the park compared to launching a business. But for those people that have kept me going, showing me love and positivity... I literally couldn't have got to this point without you. The backing I get everyday from our members, customers and partners is just a debt I will keep repaying in drive and determination. The next 2 years is already looking very different. Chris x
