This is Bona Vacantia 102. We've already learned what happens to dissolved company’s assets if they weren't taken care of before dissolution. Quick recap of "Bona Vacantia 101": 1.) Bona Vacantia means "ownerless goods". 2.) When a company dissolves without distributing their assets properly, those assets then pass to the Crown as "bona vacantia (BV)". 3.) These properties can sit months, years, or decades until someone comes along and makes it known to the Crown via the Bona Vacantia Division (BVD).
