There are now only 10 full working days before the 2026 Business Rates Revaluation comes into effect, however, the VOA have let it be known that they intend to shut down their systems this Friday the 20th, so effectively this is the last few days top submit any appeals in the 2023 list. This new list is more complex than ever before with a number of new multipliers for retail/Hospitality/Leisure premises and other reliefs in play. Bills for the financial year 26/27 will already have started landing and we know following the publication of the draft list back in November that values in general are set to rise.
