Listen to Your Body – Especially Through Menopause You may have noticed I’ve been a little quieter on the platform recently, and this is the reason why. For a while, I chose to push through and ignore the signs. Like many of us, I thought I could manage it alone — carry on, keep going, and deal with it later. But the body has a way of making itself heard, particularly during menopause. What started as small, manageable symptoms gradually became harder to ignore — brain fog, aching joints, hot sweats, and a general sense of anxiety. In the end, it catches up with you, and when it does, it can bring everything to a halt. I’m now finally taking the right step and seeing the doctor this week to get myself back on track. There’s a lesson in that. Taking action early isn’t weakness — it’s wisdom. Whether that means rest, seeking advice, or simply slowing down, it’s far better to respond early than be forced to stop altogether. Look after your health as carefully as you would any investment. It underpins everything else. #menopause #dontbeasillybilly
