Could we have pushed on, carried out the refurb and flipped it for a bigger headline profit? Probably. But good business isn’t always about chasing the maximum number on paper. Sometimes it’s about taking the W, banking the profit, and moving on to the next opportunity. With a strong pipeline already in place, the commercial decision for the group was clear — release the capital, free up the time, and redeploy into the next deal.
