From Volunteer Projects to Property Profits 🏡 This Easter, instead of switching off, I was back in Mid Wales supporting the Boys’ Brigade West Midlands District Camping Centre – a not-for-profit site in Snowdonia that I help run as Treasurer, alongside my husband James (one of the Trustees). It’s our annual “opening work party” and it’s full-on. Some of this years tasks were: • Replacing doors across dorms and communal areas • Demolishing old structures • Landscaping and reclaiming land • Refurbishing shower rooms • Commissioning facilities ready for the season • running in electrics to the new storage area All of this is done by volunteers (including young people completing their residential section of the Gold DofE Award 👏) But here’s why I’m sharing this in this group… These are the exact skills I use in my property business every day. •Project management. •Refurbs. •Cost control. •Seeing potential where others see problems. Whether it’s a campsite in Snowdonia or a tired house in the Midlands… the principles are the same. And right now, I’m actively building my pipeline of investors to fund upcoming flip projects I am looking at.
