I went to see the venue again recently and had one of those moments where I thought, this is either going to really work or I’ve completely lost my mind. A property event in a nightclub is not exactly the obvious choice. That’s the point. I didn’t want Manchester to feel like another event in another forgettable room. I wanted it to feel social from the second people walked in. I wanted the space to do some of the work for us. I wanted people to relax quicker, speak more openly and actually enjoy being there.
