A lot of people will see the event and think it’s about one evening. From my side, it never feels like that. It feels like weeks of carrying something around in your head. Conversations. Introductions. Phone calls. Tiny details that probably nobody else notices. Constantly asking yourself whether the room is going to feel how you want it to feel. That’s what building these events is like for me. Manchester feels like a milestone one. Not because it’s the biggest thing in the world. Because I can feel it moving into something stronger.
