I’ve been reflecting a lot on Birmingham this week. What stays with me is not the numbers. It’s the moments. Seeing someone I know as a lender deep in conversation with a developer. Watching businesses being introduced to the right people without any effort. Seeing exhibitors busy in the right way, not just stood there behind a table. That’s why I’m so keen to get the right businesses into Manchester. There’s a real difference between being visible and being visible in the right environment.
