Do you factor interiors into your GDV calculations? 🤔 It’s something I’m always curious about when speaking to developers. In many cases, interiors are still treated as a finishing layer rather than something that directly influences value. But from what I see on projects, the way a space is designed and presented can have a measurable impact on both achieved price and speed of sale. Not just in terms of how it looks, but how clearly a buyer understands it, connects with it, and feels confident enough to move forward. When that part is missing, properties can sit longer, attract lower offers, or require price adjustments that could have been avoided. When it’s considered properly, it often supports stronger outcomes across the board. I’m not talking about over-specifying or inflating budgets unnecessarily. I’m talking about making intentional design decisions that align with the target buyer and the end value of the scheme. 💭 Genuinely interested to hear how others approach this Is interiors something you build into your numbers early, or something that comes later in the process?
