Imagine if every empty home became a warm, stable place for a family to rebuild. We can make that real. We talk a lot about housing pressures, yet thousands of homes sit empty while families are placed in temporary accommodation. It’s time to change that. The private rented sector has evolved. With the Renters’ Rights Act, tax changes, and the upcoming Landlord Database, the private rented sector (PRS) is becoming more professional, more regulated, and more focused on quality. That’s progress, and it should be recognised as such. Instead of seeing landlords as the problem, we should be working with the responsible, standards‑driven PRS to unlock solutions. No one wants empty, deteriorating homes when they could be: • warm, safe places for children to thrive • stable foundations for learning, health, and community connection • assets that strengthen neighbourhoods I’ve now submitted a proposal to my local council (awaiting a response), putting forward my project proposal ‘CFHP’ as a practical pilot solution to demonstrate what collaboration can achieve: • bringing empty homes back into use • reducing temporary accommodation costs • improving outcomes for families • building stronger communities My inbox is open for connections, ideas, and constructive challenge. Let’s start the conversation, and let’s make change happen. Sally 🌙 iSource. iPackage. iBuy. #EmptyHomes #HousingCrisis #TemporaryAccommodation #PRS #HousingSolutions #PreventionFirst #BetterOutcomes
