🏠 House prices are "flat." But that's not the whole story. The latest Halifax figures show UK house prices were virtually unchanged in May, with annual growth sitting at just 0.5%. If you only read the headline, you'd be forgiven for thinking nothing much is happening. But underneath the national averages there are very different stories playing out. Northern Ireland saw annual growth of 7.8%. The North East and North West both recorded growth of around 3%. Meanwhile, London and the South East continued to see prices fall. That's a pretty significant gap. 💡 It's another reminder that there is no such thing as a UK property market. There are hundreds of local markets, all responding differently to affordability, supply, employment, and buyer demand. That’s why investors always find deals that stack up. Opportunities are rarely found in the headline figure but usually found by looking one layer deeper than everyone else. #PropertyInvesting #PropertyInvestor #MortgageBroker #MortgageAdvisor #MortgageAdvice #PropertyDeveloper #PropertyDevelopers #PropertyDevelopment
