Couldn't sleep last night. One single TikTok is the reason. A guy on there kept repeating one line. If you're an overthinker, then you should be an over creator. I haven't been able to shake it since. If you're an overthinker, chances are you're also more empathetic. More self aware. Always trying to predict what's coming down the track before it arrives. Overthinking is pain in the arse but it's not a flaw. It's packaged within the exact skill set that makes someone creative. I used to think creativity meant art. Painting, building, making something with your hands. In marketing, I've learned that's not true. Creativity is taking an idea and actually implementing it. The best creatives aren't the ones with the flashiest idea. They're the ones who can overthink it properly. Predict the outcomes, see where it could go wrong and still find a way through. It's almost like needing an answer for everything, and still backing the vision anyway. I think that's the bit people miss. Overthinking isn't just something creativity fixes. It's your brain telling you what you should be doing with it. If your head never switches off, maybe it's not broken. Maybe it's just wired to build.
