ADAPTING I popped into a couple of places yesterday, and one thing was clear. There are still plenty of people actively doing deals. What interested me most was the range of strategies, structures and exit routes being used to make opportunities work in the current market. It was good to see people taking action rather than waiting for perfect conditions. These conversations also give me a much clearer understanding of where investors and developers are currently positioned, what they are looking for, and how their appetite is changing. The market may be challenging, but creative and experienced operators are still finding a way forward.
