A question for the developers on here... Looking back over your career, what's the one lesson you wish someone had taught you before your first project? Not a technical skill. A lesson about risk, timing, cash flow, negotiations, planning... anything that would have saved you money or sleepless nights. I think the answers could be really useful for anyone just starting out.
